GSM FIRE OUTBREAK: Lokoja-Kogi Reps Member, Kogi Speaker Visits GSM Village, Give 1million Naira To Association

The member, House of Representative, Lokoja-Kogi federal constituency, Hon. Suleman Danladi Aguye, Kogi Speaker, Umar Aliyu Yusuf and other Stakeholders from Lokoja have donated the sum of one million naira to support the rebuilding of the GSM village ravaged by fire outbreak.
Hon. Aguye who spoke on behalf of other political appointees said they have come to sympathise with the association over the fire outbreak, adding that the team has come to also compliment on the previous visit of their leader and Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
According to him, ” We sympathized with the victims of the fire outbreak,and the extent of damage is so much that we need to raise the little sum of one million naira as our own contribution to rebuild the damaged place”, he said.
Hon. Aguye further said Governor Ododo is a friendly leader who listen to all cries, he has visit the ravaged site and equally promised to ensure that owners of businesses and other victims at the fire outbreak at the GSM village are supported to come back and we believed that he will fulfil his promises.
He noted that the GSM village had provided a dependable and legitimate source of living for several youths and women in the state, adding that it has impacted the state’s economy positively.
“The Governor has assured that those affected would be relief by rebuilding the affected properties immediately”.
Earlier, the Chairman of ICT Technology and Repairs Traders Association, Mr. Joel Tunde Omoyi expressed appreciation to the member, House of Representative, Hon. Aguye, Kogi Speaker, Umar and other officials that visited the damaged site, thanking them for donation of the sum of one million naira and the solidarity .
Those dignitaries in company of speaker and member, House of Representative were Commissioner for water Resources, Hon. MD Faruk, Member, Kogi state House of Assembly, Lokoja one, Hon. Tijanni Ebaiya, the APC chairman, Maikudi Bature, Youth leader, Mohammed Mohammed and other too numerous to mention.
