Lokoja-Kogi Stakeholders Lauds Hon. Suleiman Danladi Aguye For His Good Representation

Political stakeholders in the Lokoja-Kogi federal constituency of Kogi State have expressed satisfaction with the performance of their representative, Hon. Suleiman Danladi Aguye so far.

The people spoke in separate interviews with newsmen when the editor of Nigerian Trend Online newspaper, Abubakar Suleman visited some political leaders including men and female, community leaders, technocrats, youths and women leaders, were unanimous in their verdict on the lawmaker’s account of good performances in the federal constituency.

They said Hon. Aguye is the best legislator, after the demise of late Hon. Buba Jibril saying that he had given the constituency a good voice and good representation in the National Assembly.

According to Mallam Isa Yunusa, said, “It is appropriate and our duty to assess our elected representatives at all levels. “The assessment must, however, be constructive rather than destructive.

“Hon. Suleiman Danladi Aguye has been at the forefront of restoring dignity and good representation back to our constituency”, he noted.

He said legislator should not only be judged by the distribution of palliative and money, saying the duty of a legislator is law-making and given the bills sponsored or co-sponsored by our representative, he has not done badly at all.“

Also, he said that Hon. Aguye “has been doing very well and making Lokoja-Kogi federal constituency very proud, He was very prepared for the job of people’s representation”,he stressed.

Another political chieftain in the Kogi local government area, Idris Isa commended the lawmaker for sponsoring quality bills.

He described Aguye performance as excellent, saying, he has done well. According to him, Hon Aguye has performed excellently in his core mandate of law-making, sponsoring bills and moving motions.”

A cleric in Lokoja Local Government Area, Mallam Isa Jibril said that the lawmaker “has a bright and promising plan and purpose for the constituency.

He said, “Firstly, I will congratulate him for his move and effort concerning the installation of street lights in both lokoja and Koton-karfe and other neighbouring villages.

“Some areas has been in total darkness and Aguye was able to bring lights to those places, businesses will begin to thrive again in the areas.

A woman leader, Hajia Habibat Musa said the lawmaker had started well, adding that “his good work in the House was visible.”
