Lokoja – Koton-Karfe Youth Endorses Bukky For Kogi West Senatorial Race.

Lokoja Youth Democratic Movement, LYDM, and Koton-Karfe Youth for Good Governance, KYGG have unanimously endorsed the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP flag bearer for Kogi West Senatorial district, Muhammed Abubakar Ibukun aka, Bukky.
The group said it settled on Bukky after a thorough evaluation of the candidates vying to represent the people of the senatorial district.
It promised that its members would support Bukky by canvassing votes for him within the district and ensure his victory during the coming polls.
The president of the two groups, Abdulraman Ohiko made the declaration after there meeting today in Lokoja, the state headquarter of Kogi state.
According to Oyiko, we have agreed that we will only support candidates that will deliver and have the interest of the masses at heart.
He said: “We are interested in those who can deliver and those who have the interest of the people at heart.
“We are not biased in our choice; we have picked our brother Muhammed Abubakar Bukky and we endorse him because he has done very well in his capacity by empowering the youth of Lokoja and Koton-Karfe. His competence is not in doubt.”
In another development, Muhammed Abubakar Bukky, while receiving some youths who visited him recently, said he is aspiring for this position because of them, noted that he is very optimistic about his chances, pledged that his representation would not only bring goodwill to Kogi West.
He further said he would work in synergy with other lawmakers from kogi state to establish the Kogi Developing Commission to engineer infrastructural development in the senatorial districts.
