Lokoja LG Chairman Lays Foundation To Build 20 Shops at Old-Market.

The Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area (LGA) of Kogi State, Muhammed DanAsabe Muhammad has laid the foundation of 20 shops in addition to existing shops at the popular Lokoja Old-Market.
Muhammed during the laying of the foundation at the market , said his administration has decided to add more shops to what they have at the market and provide for those indigenes who does not have shops to sell their wares and also with intention to decongest the Lokoja market.
He noted that when he came on board as Chairman, he promised to add value to the commercial activities and improve the living standard of his people.
The Chairman observed that the new shops will be build within little months and be commissioned immediately.
At the laying of the foundation, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Maikudi Bature expressed satisfaction with the chairman, urged his colleagues to borrow a leaf from him by always placing the service of the people above personal interests.
