Lokoja Traders Applaud Senator Smart Adeyemi’s Effort In Providing Empowerment To Youth, Women

The chairman of Wares Traders Association,WTA, in kogi state, Mallam Jibril Modibbo Tijanni has applauded the efforts of the Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi for providing cash and other empowerment items to the people of Kogi state.
The chairman also urged other politicians in the state to emulate the people-oriented programmes of Senator Adeyemi, especially in the area of youth and women empowerment which, he said, has improved the wellbeing of people across the state.
Mallam Tijanni gave the commendation while speaking with Nigerian Trend online newspaper on Monday in Lokoja.
He said Sen. Smart recently sent cash gift through online transfer to most of his followers and supporters, stressing that other politicians should emulate the kind gestures and magnanimity of a man who did this and was no longer in the Senate.
“Sen. Smart Adeyemi is no longer in the Senate and he still continued to empower his supporters, this actions of Sen. Adeyemi has clearly indicates the love he has for his people back at home”.
” There is a need for other political class to embark on programmes that would positively impact on the masses”.
He pointed out that he was proud of Senator Adeyemi for his commitment and determination to ameliorate the sufferings of the people, especially at this period of fuel subsidy removal, noting that Sen. Adeyemi is worthy of emulation.
“I am highly impressed with what Senator Adeyemi is doing, and I am proud that he is from my party, the APC. If other politicians will do what he is doing, our people will live to reap the sweet fruits of democracy,” he said.
Mallam Tijanni expressed the optimism that ” Adeyemi’s performances while in the Senate has differentiate him from others, it’s just like 7up”,he stressed.
Confirming the empowerment scheme embarked by Sen. Smart Adeyemi, Nigerian Trend online newspaper interacted with some of the beneficiaries in Lokoja at the various wards, they all thanked Senator Adeyemi for coming to their rescue at this period of hardship, praying God to grant him the desires of his heart.
Umar musa, Yakubu Yahya, Illiasu Dauda, Fatima Hassan and judith Nathaniel were some of the beneficiaries who appreciated Sen. Adeyemi and prayed for him too.
