Lokoja Transition Committee Chairman Presides Over Peace, Security Meeting

True to his pronouncement on Thursday while taking over the mantle of leadership of Lokoja Local Government Area, the caretaker chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, has swung into action and held a security meeting with heads of security agencies in the council.
The meeting which also serves as a means to sustain peace and instill confidence and trust in the new administration also reviewed the prevailing situation, held in Lokoja the Kogi State capital.
The Chairman used the opportunity to assure the heads of security agencies in the LGA of close working relationship and sought their cooperation to enable him sustain and improve on the peace of the area.
The security heads applauded the Chairman’s openness and commitment and expressed their readiness to continue to maintain peace and security within the Local Government.
