Maigari Of Lokoja Commends Gov. Ododo For Prompt Payment Of Salaries

The Maigari Of Lokoja, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir, Markafi 1V has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for prompt payment of salaries of workers in the state.
He also applauded Governor Ododo for being sensitive to the welfare of workers, particularly during festive period to enable them celebrate with ease.
The Statement was made during the celebration of Eid-el–Kabir Lokoja parade day on Monday.
Maigari Of Lokoja explained that the market women and traders and the entire workers in Lokoja were very happy with the Governor.
He however commended Gov. Ododo for keeping faith with the state workforce, which has contributed in the stability in the state.
He advised political appointees and elected officers from Lokoja to continue to display honesty and sincerity of purpose, loyal and dedicated to the present administration of Gov. Ododo.
Maigari Of Lokoja also encouraged political appointees to use the opportunity to make their marks and leave positive legacies for the future to remember them. He assured Gov. Ododo of total support and commitment to his administration in the state .
The mornach called on his people to maintain peace and harmony and respect the sanctity of peace and dignity of the kingdom.
The Royal Father used the forum to deplore the worsening insecurity in the state and commeded Gov. Ododo for his prompt intervention to rescue the kidnapped CUSTHEC Students.
He therefore urged all politicians to join hand with the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration to enable him provide the the people with expected dividend of democracy.
He equally appealed to the people of Lokoja on the need to respect constituted authorities, commended Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for his leadership style since his assumption of office.
The Royal father called on the people to be security conscious, said the need for the people to join hands in ensuring security, peace and unity in the state and the country at large.
Earlier In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Traditional title holders, Sen. Tunde Ogbeha who was represented by the immediate past member of House of Representative, Lokoja-Kogi federal constituency, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, the Sodangi of Lokoja thanked the people of Lokoja for their peaceful conduct in their daily activities.
He therefore called on the the people of Lokoja to continue to give support to the Maigari of lokoja to bring about continuous peace, growth and development of lokoja town.
The colourful occasion witnessed order of paying traditional homages to Maigari of lokoja, namely Maigari Musa ruling house, Maigari Abiga ruling house and Maigari Markafi ruling house.
Others are kingmakers council led by waziri and mayaki, traditional title holders council led by lakpini and waziri Lokoja ward Heads and their subjects led by Sarki Zango/Hakimi of Ward B, Chairman/members of Lokoja local Govt. and occupational/sectional Heads led by Sagi of Lokoja.
