Mammoth Crowd Greets Murtala Ajaka’s Campaign In Kogi East

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, yesterday holds his zonal rally in kogi Eastern senatorial district with a mammoth crowd of supporters in attendance.
The rally, which was held at Idah witnessed the convergence of swelling numbers of party supporters and chieftains from Eastern senatorial District.
Speaking at the rally, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka expressed delight over the huge turnout of people, saying it was a sign of the goodwill and support he enjoys from the people.
According to him, Kogi needs robust and effective leadership to be revived, especially with the current maladministration bedevilling the state.
“Today is a historic day. Today true democracy is being played. We are overwhelmed by this massive crowd, this show that the people of Kogi are ready and want change”.
“If you elect me as your governor, I will improve security, health, economy and agriculture, the glory of our state. We will restore our farming activities by God’s grace,” Ajaka said.
Dignitaries that canvassed support for Ajaka at the rally include the state leaders of SDP, Alhaji Yakubu Enape, Shiekh Ibrahim, SDP running mate, Sam Ranti Abenemi and a host of others.
