Mass Defection; Kogi APC Ready To Recieve Hon. Sam Aro, Commodore Daniel Folorusho Into Ruling Party, Holds 5th July At Isanlu

The Special Committee on Defection of Kogi APC is set to receive prominent sons and daughters from the western senatorial district Into the ruling party, All Progressives Party.
The chairman of the committee, Dr. Taufiq Isa who spoke to newsmen in Lokoja onTuesday said they have been in contact with prominent personalities from other parties, saying the the committee is presently achieving results.
“I will authoritatively inform you that some of these bigwigs in Kogi western senatorial district have agreed to decamp to APC while we are still discussing with others”.
Alhaji Taufiq commended the state chairman of the Party, Hon. Abdullahi Bello, for setting up the special committee on Defection tasking us to prove our efficiency and effectiveness as experienced politicians.
He eulogized the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for bringing about the speedy growth of human and infrastructural development in the state.
The committee chairman revealed that the first decamping exercise will take place at Isanlu,Yagba East Local Government Area on the 5th of July, 2025.
According to him, ” We are recieving two prominent sons from Yagba land, Hon. Sam Aro and Commodore Daniel Folorusho to the ruling party on Saturday 5th July and we are working day and night to ensure the success of the coming ceremony.
” We are also moving to Kogi East immediately after the Isanlu ceremony, several prominent igala sons and daughters are waiting to defect to APC”.
He however expressed confidence in the ability of his committee members to deliver on mandate given to them by the party, assuring that they would use thier political experience and be innovative in approach to achieve positive results.
