Newly Employed Teachers In Kogi State have Denied Any Demand Of Money by State Government.

The teachers that were newly employed in the services of Kogi state government have reacted to the widespread speculation milling round that they were asked or compelledd to pay the sum of 10,000 naira each for the confirmation of their appointments.
One of the teachers, Musa Yakubu said nobody approach them for any payment of any money, of such, , according to him, he was employed last year, and went through the procedure to get the job and was fully engaged, since then we are all teaching our students without any complain, so nobody has ever approach us for any money. We have been under probation and the state government did promised to permanent us, ,why must this wicked people come with such lies to destroy our future, they asked.
The leader of the team of science teachers in one of the schools in lokoja, Karim Abubakar commended Kogi state government and the present leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his love and passion for Education in Kogi state, saying he has put up several measures to encourage education in the state.
He also applauded the leadership of STETCOM in the state for encouraging them to perform well in their various fields as teachers in the state.
When Nigerian Trend online newspaper visited GYB science secondary school in Adankolo, the teachers were very angry that such wicked rumour came at a very wrong time whenthe state government is very ready to permanent them, He however pleaded to the state government and the authority to disregard the blackmail by the enemies.
The teachers therefore called on the state government and STETCOM to disregard the speculation by the unscrupulous elements who are enemies of Kogi state, adding that they never wished Kogi state well.
