NNPP officially unveils Mubarak As Guber Candidate In Kogi

The New Nigeria Peoples Party, (NNPP), has officially unveiled Dr. Musa Mubarak Abuche as its governorship candidate for the November 11th gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
Mubarak was unveiled on Thursday by key party stakeholders and Party Chairmen of local government areas in the State.
Speaking during the unveiling ceremony at the conference hall of AKK Hotel, Lokoja , the NNPP governorship flagbearer appreciated the NNPP family in Kogi State and urged them to work assiduously for the victory of the party.
He said his candidacy will bring about peace and tranquility in kogi state, assuring that the party will do things differently when elected.
He promised to be the Governor of the entire people of kogi state and not governor of kogi east, he stressed.
Earlier, the State Chairman of the party, appealed to members of the party to move out to various units, wards and local government areas to mobilize and canvass for vote to ensure the victory of Musa Mubarak as the next Governor of Kogi State.
He however charged electorates to work and vote for NNPP as the optional party saying both APC and PDP have rule the state without achieving any meaningful progress, adding that the party will wrestle power from the ruling party.
A former senatorial candidate in Kogi West, Hon. Abubakar Muhammed Ibukun appealed to aggrieved party members to sheath their swords and work for the party’s victory.
He thanked the members and stakeholders of NNPP in Kogi State for voting Musa Mubarak during the last primary election, stressing that they have clearly demonstrated the love and commitment for the progress of the party.
Also speaking, the state leader of NNPP in kogi state, Hon. Ibrahim aka ‘Elephant’ said the party, NNPP is an indivisible party, saying the official and authentic candidate of NNPP in kogi state is Musa Mubarak Abuche.
He tasked party stakeholders to unite against any forces who intend to stop their victory at the polls.
“We would continue to give our maximum support to our governorship candidate, we cannot support another candidate or party, but we have to see ourselves as one family” he stated.
