Says: Let’s bring dividends of democracy to citizens’ doorsteps, By Electing Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo As Next Governor of Kogi State

The foremost Campaign Organisation in Kogi State, the Ododo Support Organisation, OSO has joined the host of well-wishers to felicitates with Nigerian leaders and well-meaning citizens of the country on the June 12 Democracy Day Celebration – urging Kogites to reflect on the need to cast their votes for the All Progressive Congress, APC Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in order for him to bring the dividends of democracy to the citizens’ doorsteps in the state.

This was contained in a joint statement released on Monday and made available to newsmen by Mr. Oluwarotimi Philip Odofin, Director of Media and Publicity Directorate and Dr. Bello Abdulazeez (Sir-Azo), Director, Diaspora Kogites Directorate of the Organisation in commemoration of the 2023 Democracy Day Celebration.

According to the statement, the Organisation admonished the Kogi citizens that the only way for the state to continue to experience rapid development is for the people to cast their ballots in favour of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the forthcoming November 11th 2023 Governorship Election. Stating that his emergence as Governor of the state would be a sure part for the people to continue in enjoying the dividends of Democracy whose spirit the June 12 represents.

The Organisation said that Nigeria and indeed Kogi people should be celebrating more victories than calculating losses since the start of Democratic era in the country while reiterating that the Governorship candidate when elected, would focus more on education, infrastructure, Security and affordable Health care – with more emphasis on women and children, and of course Youth empowerments.

The June 12th Commemorations remain a significant historical date as it stands for reflection on the will and purpose of every segment of electoral processes in the country, the statement added
