PDP National Chairman, DEMANGUM, GO! GO!! GO!!!
By Abubakar Salisu
The PDP National Board of Trustees led by Senator Adolph Wabara must urgently assemble a formidable legal team to challenge the irresponsible injunction that audaciously mandates Demangum’s continued reign as party chairman until December 9th, 2025. This injunction defies the constitutional provisions of the PDP and flouts the resolute decision reached at the party’s last NEC meeting in April 2024.
The Board of Trustees stands as the unequivocal authority to vacate this egregious injunction. Should Adolph Wabara fail to take decisive action, he will be viewed as compromised, his integrity irreparably tarnished.
It is an inviolable reality that Demangum’s extended tenure as National Chairman beyond August 15th, 2024, would be utterly unpalatable for the party. This stark truth must be acknowledged for it serves the long-term interests of Demangum himself, the critical stakeholders of the North East Geo-Political Zone, and the very zone itself.
The party must initiate a comprehensive National Search Process to identify a suitable and impartial candidate of North Central origin for the esteemed position. The Board of Trustees is duty-bound to play an active role in this pivotal process, ensuring transparency and upholding the party’s core values.
Demangum’s departure is an imperative, a necessity for the PDP’s future. The Board of Trustees must act swiftly and decisively, for the party’s unity and progress hinge upon their unwavering resolve.
Go Demangum, go!!!
