President Tinubu Sends Ministerial Nominees To National Assembly

President Bola Tinubu has sent his list of ministerial nominees to the National Assembly for screening and confirmation.
We learnt that the lawmakers have officially receive the list of ministerial nominees yesterday, 19th of July 2023.
The National Assembly clerk, Magaji Tambuwal Confirmed this to some Senators, according to sources.
By the provision of law, President Tinubu is expected to forward the list of ministerial nominees to the National Assembly not later than 60 days from the date he takes the oath of office.
Recall that the incumbent administration was inaugurated on May 29, when former President Muhammadu Buhari handed over the mantle of leadership to Tinubu.
Going by the constitutional provision of 60 days, Tinubu has less than ten days to constitute his cabinet.
The list will be read out by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, during Wednesday’s plenary.
According to insider sources at the Presidency, the ministerial list had been ready for some time but President Tinubu took his time to go over the list and make necessary adjustments to ensure its acceptability and effectiveness.
