Primary Health Care Dept Donates Medical Equipments To Lokoja LGA

Kogi state Primary Health Care department through IMPACT projects, recently has presented medical equipment, hospital-related items and seven Motorcycles to Lokoja local government area.
The Council Chairman of Lokoja Local government area, Muhammed DanAsabe Muhammad said he had from the beginning of his administration prioritised public health, noting that he was pleased and very appreciative of donations of the medical and clinical equipments.
The Chairman who was physically at the occasion alongside with his Director of local government area, commended the Head of department, staff of PHC and the international donor agency for the kind gesture, saying he was impressed “for providing succour to our people in Lokoja ”.
The Chairman said, “On our part, the health sector has remained one of the priority areas and the means through which we have reached out to the majority of our people in respect of the dividends of democratic governance.
“On this note, I am pleased to unveil the medical equipment/items donated to our clinics,” he said
The Head of Department of PHC, Bochi Umar said the medical, clinical and other apparatus about to inaugurate today are support from the world bank through the IMPACT projects aim to boast the quality of health care services nationwide especially as its concerns reproductive, maternal, newborn child, Adolescent and elderly, plus nutrition which cut across all wards in Lokoja local government area.
