Prof Nasir Reception: Chairman Planning Committee Should Be Commended for a Successful Programme
The community of Ayegunle Ohon Gbede and Ijumu Local Government Area was buzzing with excitement on Sunday as they came together to honor one of their own, Prof Abdulsalam Nasir Naeem. The reception, organized by the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Alh. (Dr.) Taufiq A. Isa, was a resounding success and showcased the commitment and dedication of the organizers.
Members of the community and dignitaries from across the country arrived early to participate in the event, which was hailed as one of the biggest receptions in recent memory. The Chairman of the Planning Committee and his team, including the Entertainment, Venue, and Decoration Committee Chairmen, were praised for their exceptional coordination and attention to detail.
Special recognition was also given to the Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Arch. Salman Idris, for his support in ensuring the success of the program. The presence of former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and current Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo added a touch of glamour to the event and demonstrated the unity of the Kogi State political landscape.
The reception not only honored Prof Nasir but also served as a platform to highlight the promises made by Governor Ododo, including the reconstruction of township roads and the construction of a new palace for the Olu of Ayegunle Ohon Gbede.
