Provost, COE, Mopa,Dr. Victoria Jagboro Bags 2024 Colleges Of Education Award, North Central

Another Laurel for the hard-working Amazon of North Central top-rated Provost, College of Education, Technical, Mopa, Dr. Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro has been presented with the award of excellence alongside with other management staff of the Institution.

Dr. Jagboro who was presented the plaque by the National coordinator, Nigeria Education Merit Award, NEMA, Asiwaju Temitope Ayodele said the provost was adjuged as the YEAR 2024 Best Provost in the North-Central.

According to him, ” our outfit was able to undergo an accessment of colleges of Education in the North-Central and found out that Dr. Victoria Jagboro leadership qualities, which had launched the College of Education, technical, Mopa, into a global reckoning in the last 8 years, among many other achievements, had put the Provost ahead of others including the older generation Institutions in the North-Central.

Following his emergence as 2024 Best Provost was promptly decorated at the conference Hall of the Institution on Tuesday alongside other awardees.

Also inducted alongside Dr. Jagboro were the Deputy Provost, Michael Ojodale Odoma, Registrar Mr. Raji A John, Liberian, Mr. Seidu Stephen Tunde, and Bursar, Abdullahi Yahaya Ara.

Other awardees are; Director of Works, Engr. Solomon Amedu, Auditor, Abe Omotunde OluFunke, Deputy Registrar, Jackson Tunde Abodunde and Deputy Bursar, Audu Edward Ado.

In her own remarks, the provost of the prestigious institution, Dr. Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro, said “This is a very auspicious moment for me and other management team, as we all have gathered to celebrate this achievements, it’s a great honour for us to be given accolades and awards on our performances so far, we are truly obliged for this great honour and recognition given by Nigeria Education Merit Award”.

” Being honest, the journey towards the accomplishment was not easy throughout my eight years in office, it was with the support and cooperation of my management team, they provided unconditional support to me”,she said.

” I am thankful to the management team who showed so much of trust and faith in me, which was the constant energy boost for me.”,she stressed.

” Above all, I would like to utilise this platform to express my deep gratefulness to the immediate past Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello who gave me the opportunity to serve as the provost of the institution”.

The provost also commended the present Executive Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his landmark achievements within his few months in office, promised to be very supportive and continue to demonstrate our loyality and commitment to his administration.

The event had prominent dignitaries from all works of life. Nigeria Education Merit Award.

NEMA’s aims and objectives of the presentation of this awards is to reward hard-working Nigerians in various fields of endeavors.

After the ceremony, the school community was thrown into a frenzy of excitement as members of staff and students celebrated the hard-working provost, describing the award as well-deserved.
