Provost, COE, Technical,Mopa Applauds Kogi First Lady,Hajia Sefinat Ododo’s Renewed Hope Initiative On Education

The Provost Of College of Education, Technical, Mopa, Dr. Victoria Olushola Jagboro has commended the First Lady of Kogi state, Hajia Sefinat Ahmed Ododo, for her initiative aimed at promoting access to education for kogi’s children under the RenewedHopeInitiative.
Dr. Jagboro who is a female provost of the famous institution spoke to Nigerian Trend online newspaper on Saturday noting that the first Lady had demonstrated her commitment as a true mother of the state by donating thousands of notebooks to students through the commissioner of Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, ensuring that students and pupils are encouraged under her RenewedHopeInitiative.
The initiative she added, will enhance learning in schools and reduce the menace of out-of-school children, especially among female children in kogi state.
“We are very happy to be part of Her Excellency’s RenewedHopeInitiative in reaching out to students who are in need of a role model and a source of inspiration like the first lady”,she said.
According to her, this will encourage wives of transition chairman at the Local Government levels across the state to do more in promoting access to education in state”, she said.
Dr. Jagboro added that she was particularly delighted by the passion and dedication demonstrated by the first lady in promoting access to education and for making women and children focal points of the RenewedHopeInitiative in kogi state.
Dr. Jagboro also urged the people of Kogi state to continue to support His Excellency, Executive Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to take Kogi to greater heights.
