SDP Accuses APC Of Harassment, And Intimidation In Kogi LG

The leadership of Social Democratic Party, SDP in Kogi State has accused the All Progressives Congress, APC of harassment, and intimidation of party members in kogi local government area.
In a press statement issued by the Director of Communications, Faruk Adejoh-Audu stated that the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic party, Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, alleged that members of the SDP who defected from APC in kogi local government area are constantly been harassed by police officers and thugs belonging to All Progressives Congress.
He also decried the alleged plan by the APC toarrest some of their members In kogi lga. It further stated, “Several members of our party are earmarked for arrest and we gathered that police boss has turned himself into an armed wing of the state All Progressives Party (APC) to harass and intimidate members of the SDP in the state”.
” Anybody instigating crisis should be ready for the consequences of such actions. We call on Nigerian Police and other security agencies to be swift in responding to all these kinds of issues. No amount of violence, intimidation and harassment will stop the match of the SDP to victory in kogi state.”
