SECURITY, KEEPING LOKOJA INTERNATIONAL MARKET CLEAN IS NON-NEGOTIABLE – Adams Babangida

The Consultant of Lokoja International Market, Comrade Adams J Babangida has reaffirmed the importance of providing adequate security and maintaining regular cleanliness in the market as a fundamental requirement for its operation.
He made this statement to Nigerian Trend Online Newspaper during a chat on saturday in the state headquarters, Lokoja.
Speaking, Comrade Adams Babanguda has assured traders of continious safety within the market environment, noting that perfect security arrangement had alredy been put in place.
He also emphasized the need for market leaders to uphold high sanitation standards and adhere strictly to government regulations.
He frowned against uncleanliness, extortion of traders by some faceless people and unauthorized constructions in market spaces, highlighting that government would not tolerate such practice.
He further charged the market leaders to take responsibility for ensuring a clean and orderly market environment.
He revealed that he has spend lots of fund to create passable roads and expansion within the market, disallowing congestion in the premises.
“Provision of adequate security is a fundamental issue and we have done right that, and Cleanliness in Lokoja International market is non-negotiable. We are committed to supporting market growth and we must comply with government regulations, so, together we all can achieve sustainable development,” Comrade Babangida said.
Congratulating the Executve Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his one year anniversary in office, he commended him for his remarkable and landmark achievements within his short period in office.
He equally commended Governor Ododo’s transformative efforts in Lokoja and kogi state, especially the New modern International market under construction and several meaningful projects spread accross the three senatorial districts of kogi state.
