Security Operatives Are Competent To Rescue Akpamoba-Igbonla Kidnapped Victims – Lokoja Council Chairman
- Says Two Pastors Already Rescued

The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has said the kidnapped pastors, Adura Kayode and Kingsley Ebong of the City of Grace Prophetic Liberation Church who were abducted during a Night vigil around11pm at the Akpamoba-Igbola Mountain on Friday
night have been rescued and reunited with their families.
In a press statement issued by the Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman
Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon. Yusuf Mohammed Bala stated that the council Chairman called on residents of the area to remain calm as security personnels were on the trails of the criminals and making steady progress.
He hinted that the other worshippers who escaped at the scene of the incidence are given useful information to the Security operatives, urged anyone with useful and credible information not to hesitate to contact the authorities.
“I want to once again use the opportunity to thank our security operatives, and indeed, the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo who is working daily to restore order, security, and stability in kogi state”
“Daily, we are getting freedom back to our own people. We will continue to do so. We will not relent, and we will not stop”, chairman stressed.
Comrade Abdullahi Adamu assures the public that the security operatives will continue to comb the forest until everyone who may have been abducted and held in the forests are freed.
The Chairman however commended Commander Ismaila Hassan and other officers of the Community Vigilante Groups covering Felele to Tajimi and it’s environs for their swift and quick response, assuring the public that the security operatives will restore sanity back to the town.
