Special Adviser On Youth & Student Affairs, Hon. Oladele John Nihi Urges Youths To Embrace Enterprenurship

The Special Adviser on Youth and Student Affairs to Kogi state Governor, Oladele John Nihi has urged youths in the state to embrace entrepreneurship being a positive force that drives innovation and creates wealth.
Hon. Nihi who celebrated his birthday by organising the 5th edition of OJN Youth symposium at the glasshouse, Government House, Lokoja noted that Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo had implemented several programmes to support the youth in the state irrespective of their gender to be self-reliant and become an employer of labour.
He revealed that the governor has earmarked several Hectres of farmland in all the twenty-one local government areas in the state, for the teeming youth to Embark on mechanised farming, saying that the beneficiaries(famers) after harvesting the crops, will in return be sold back to the state government.
Nihi noted that OJN Youth symposium was a call to youth for everybody in the state to be resilient and come together in leveraging the power of new ideas and innovation for the benefit of all.
He said, “It is worthy to know that to minimise the barriers associated with entrepreneurship development in the state, the government will trained youths in different entrepreneurial skills and vocations.
“Despite the successes recorded by the state government in the area of job creation, involment of youth in government and empowerment by the state government , Gov. Ododo is also committed to working together with the youths to enable them be self reliant and sufficient.
