  • Gov. Ododo Promises That Economic challenges Will Soon Be Over – SA Media

Stallion Times in collaboration with MacArthur Foundation has trained 30 Journalists in Kogi State on Human Rights and Social Inclusion.

The event which took place at Edgedrive Hotel, Lokoja witnessed the presence of the newly appointed Special Adviser, Media to the Kogi State Governor of kogi state,, Hon. Ismail Isah who disclosed that the government under the leadership of Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo would partner with the media throughout his stay in office and promised not to deviate from promoting human rights and social justice.

He also said the Governor will cushion the effect of rising cost of foodstuffs in the market and poverty eradication, according to him, ” The Government is not unmindful of the challenges of cost of living in the society saying that it is as result of economic downturn.

The Special Adviser, Media to Governor Ododo assured that the present economic challenges faced by Nigerians would soon be over as all hands are on deck at all levels of government to bring succour to the citizenry.

He assured that the administration of Gov Ododo is resolved in cushioning the impact of the downturn in the economy, said as part of the administration’s short term measures to cushion the effect of rising cost of food stuffs, the State Government would in the few days flag off the distribution of Palliatives amongst other measures.
