Unveiling Of APC Deputy Governorship Candidate In Kogi, Comrade Joel Salifu

The All Progressives Congress, APC in kogi state has officially unveiled the Running Mate to the Governorship candidate of the party.
The Kogi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union Of Teachers, Comr. Joel Salifu Oyibo was unveiled on Saturday as the running mate to Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, the All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate for the November governorship election.
The event which attracted party stakeholders, loyalists and members of the APC held at the Glass House, Government House, Lokoja.
Unveiling the Deputy Governorship Candidate, the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, described the APC team for the November governorship election as a perfect and winning team.
Gov. Bello described Comrade Salifu as an administrator per excellence with grassroots support.
He described the winning team, Alhaji Ododo and Comr. Salifu as what Kogi needs to move forward, urged the people of the State give them their maximum support development.
He expressed optimism that the APC will win overwhelmingly, saying Kogi State is APC state.
In his remarks, the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello said the choice of Comr. Joel was arrived at after a painstaking efforts, described the APC Flagbearers as untainted in character, having the right capacity, with competence to take the State forward after Gov Bello’s administration.
In their separate address, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, the APC Governorship flagbearer described his running mate as having all it takes to make the Governorship ticket solid and a winning team.
In his remarks, Comr. Salifu promised to justify his nomination by adding value to the victory of the APC in the forthcoming November governorship election, he however thanked Gov. Bello, the Chairman and members of the All Progressives Congress for the support.
